Summary
Our client is a fast growing commercial GC that is actively looking to add a remote Project Manager to oversee all of their Indianapolis projects. This PM will operate as a satellite office operating autonomously and be the face of the company. The ideal hire would be a well rounded Senior Project Manager that knows well and has relationships in the Indy market.

- Primarily builds TI/Remodels of office, healthcare, industrial, and retail projects. They also do clean room projects and a variety of other commercial.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Set-up and develop preliminary estimates, competitive bids and proposals, and project schedules for multiple projects in a very busy and friendly construction office environment.
- Originate and manage owner and subcontractor contracts and effectively manage and track all project costs to ensure profitability with integrity and honesty.
- Effectively communicate and resolve issues throughout all phases of the construction process including priorities with schedule, budget, and quality standards in a fair and equitable manner.
- Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the owners, architects, engineers, project superintendents, and subcontractors and suppliers with timely and efficient communication.
- Monitor the progress of the construction activities with periodic on-site inspections, track potential disputes and claims, procure punch list for the project, perform yearly inspections, and resolve any deficiencies.
- Supervise and manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
- Develop project plans; coordinate projects; communicate changes and progress; complete projects on time and budget.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; work well in group problem solving situations; use reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
- Balance team and individual responsibilities; exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views; give and welcome feedback; contribute to building a positive team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in construction management or related field
- 10+ years of construction management experience
- Managed commercial projects above $5m highly preferred
- Previous mentorship or management of other project management professionals a plus
- Strong knowledge of construction software, preconstruction, construction management, business development, and all other aspects of GC operations.
